Son of Thomas and Cecilia Jane Miller of Baysville, Ontario. Husband of Mrs. Beatrice (née Butler) Armstrong, remarried Freeland of Toronto, Ontario. Brother of Shirley Agatha, Robert, Alice and Marie.
His father Private Thomas Miller Armstrong, died on September 8, 1943, while serving with the Veterans Guard of Canada.
1939-45 Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-45, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp.
