He served in Canada and Great Britain.
1939-1943 Star and Clasp, Pathfinder Force insignia, operational wings and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, posthumously the 1939-1945 Star, Europe Star, War Medal 1939-1945.

Lesquin is a village and commune 6 kilometres south-east of Lille and 8 kilometres north-east of Seclin. The LESQUIN COMMUNAL CEMETERY is north-west of the village on the road to the neighbouring village of Ronchin.
