Location:

Riaille is a village and commune about 24 miles (38 kilometres) north-east of Nantes, and some 14 miles (23 kilometres) south of Chateaubriant. It stands at the junction of the secondary roads from Joue-sur-Erdre to St.Mars-la-Jaille and Chateaubriant to Ancenis. Nantes is the most convenient centre, whence the village is best reached by taxi. The communal cemetery is on the eastern side of the village, about 150 yards from the church south of the road to St. Mars-la-Jaille. In the south-eastern (far left) corner, against the rear wall, are the graves of two airmen belonging to the Royal Canadian Air Force.
