Photo courtesy of Rich Allenby www.allenby.info WO Harry Williamson was one of two trainee pilots aboard Halifax BB 203 on a conversion training flight. The 31-yr old RAF trainee pilot was at the controls on the return flight to East Moor and was seen to be flying too low. The aircraft struck a chimney stack and crashed. Also killed were the RAF instructor and two Flight Engineers. -
