Son of Louis Henry and Mary Cann, of Louisburg, Nova Scotia. Mr. Cann owned the L.H. Cann's ship repairing plant in Louisbourg which repaired many allied ships during the war years.
He had service in Canada and in the United Kingdom. He completed 471 days of service, including 115 days overeseas.
