Robert Cole's grave marker. In 1942, 142 Squadron was flying Wellington MkIV bombers. He was a pilot and joined the Squadron on 6th October 1942, the same day as Flt/Sergeant C G MacLennan and Sergeant R A Patenaude also of the R.C.A.F. All three died on 16th October 1942 and are buried in the same cemetery.
