He and 4 other Canadians airmen were flying a Wellington bomber , HF865 on a night flight training in the UK. It Crashed near Bicester, at 23:30 hrs after aprox' 6 min into the flight in a stalled condition in right hand bank after losing power. Sgt Jackson was killed on impact
