Sergeant Roger Pierson Owen
I came across the grave in Minchinhampton Churchyard, some five miles from my home, whilst looking for that of Sgt. Pilot N. W. Barbeau RCAF killed whilst flying his Spitfire from Aston Down airfield, on December 7, 1941. These two men lie side by side with an Australian and an English pilot, all killed in December 1941. Sgt Owen's grave is second from left.
