Texel is one of the West Frisian islands, about 90 kilometres north of Haarlem; and Den Burg is its main town. Texel is reached by boat from Den Helder. The TEXEL (DEN BURG) CEMETERY is about 400 metres from the centre of Den Burg, and contains a special war graves plot, Plot K.

Barfoot, Bishop of the Diocese of Edmonton. The brass plate underneath the window memorializes the eight men who died during the war: Frederick John Boyer, George William Rupert Dalton, James Albert Fairall, James Manning, Robert Molloy, Gordon Harvey Noble, Edmund Cecil Phillips, and Richard Clare Smith.
