Location:

Woudenburg is a village and commune 22 kilometres east of Utrecht, and 9 kilometres south of Amersfoort. The cemetery is about 500 metres west of the village, on the south side of the road to Utrecht. In the eastern part are the graves of airmen from Canada and New Zealand. They are marked by private memorials.

Sgt Unwin was doing his Pilot Training with the single engine  Harvard aircraft at RCAF Station Summerside where he received his Wings .The Unwin's rented 2 upstairs rooms at the Schurman home as did Doris and her husband Marshall Shover.
