Son of John and Agnes J. McLeod, of Waterford, Ontario. A memorial to commemorate the crew of the Halifax aircraft in which Pilot Officer McLeod was killed was unveiled on January 31, 2006 at the site of the crash in Ilkey Moor, West Yourshire, England, 60 years after the crash.
