Son of Robert and Isabella (née Sutherland) Cormack, of New Westminster, British Columbia. Flight Sergeant Cormack attended Duke of Connaught High School in New Westminster from 1935-1939 and the University of British Columbia for one year in the Arts Program. He was a student and single. He enjoyed skiing, skating, swimming and tennis. He served overseas from 14 September 1941 to his death.
