There is very little in Foote's miltiary Pers file in Ottawa. There is no Committee of Adjustment file, no Estate file, no reports of any type on his crew and their deaths.<P>

High school registration card for Alan Foote filled out when he entered North Toronto Collegiate in Toronto (1933). He later transferred to Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute when it opened in 1936. He left in 1940 to join the RCAF.

VORDEN GENERAL CEMETERY Netherlands
Vorden is a village on the Zutphen-Groenlo road. It is 8 kilometres south-east of Zutphen. The VORDEN GENERAL CEMETERY is 1 kilometre north-east of the village, in the woods some 450 metres north of the road to Ruurlo. The graves are in a special pelouse d'honneur on the eastern side of the cemetery.
