AMELAND (NES) GENERAL CEMETERY Netherlands
Ameland, one of the Frisian Islands off the north coast of the Netherlands, is some 15 kilometres from the mainland. Nes is the largest of the four villages on Ameland.
The AMELAND (NES) GENERAL CEMETERY is about 700 metres east of Nes, on the road to Buren. The British plot is in a prominent position immediately left of the entrance.
