JB924 was one of three No.78 Halifaxes lost on this operation. Airborne 2317 13May43 from Linton-on-Ouse, it was shot down by a night- fighter and crashed 0255 , some 4 km NE of Harlingen, Holland. F/Sgt (AG) A. A. Kew, RCAF and five RAF crew members are buried in Barradeel (Wijnaldum) protestant Churchyard.  They were RAF F/S R.E.Bragg; Sgt E.Pritchard; F/L R.Grey; Sgt R.D.Matches; and Sgt D.Baxter. One, Sgt H.E.Gell, survived and was taken PoW.
