Hampden L4109 from 14 Operational Training Unit was lost over Holland during operations.  Also killed was observer Sgt. Geo. E. Coldron.  Two RCAF crew members survived the crash and were taken PoW:  Sgts. R. Carlson and T. F. Needham.
