  • Photo of Frederick Houston– Raised in Wheatley Ont. Sgt./Pilot Houston was on a training flight in his Wellington bomber when his plane collided with a Junkers fighter-bomber lurking over England. Both craft were destroyed. All aboard both aircraft (12) were killed. Fred is buried in Bassingbourn Cum Kneesworth in Cambridgeshire, England.
