Son of Andrew A. and Helen E. Walker, of Kisbey, Saskatchewan. Brother of Flight Sergeant William Archibald Walker, Royal Canadian Air Force, killed in action 17 March 1942. The government of Saskatchewan honoured Flying Officer Walker by naming Walker Lake, located northwest of Phelps Lake, in his memory.
