Burial/memorial information
John Feeney was the only son of John (Jack) Louis and Marie Theresa (née Ready) Feeney, of Fredericton, New Brunswick. John was attending St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia when he joined the Naval Reserve. Besides his parents, he left behind 4 sisters, Rita Marie, Mary Elizabeth, Margaret Anne and Moira Catherine. John's father was a Civil Engineer. To commemorate his son, he designed and had constructed an altar rail for the Yeovelton Church where John was buried. He had the altar rail shipped to the church where it was installed.
