Son of David and Effie May (nee Hamilton) Findlay of Carleton Place, Ontario; husband of Jessie Maud Salmon (nee Carroll) Findlay and father of Mary Hamilton, of Westmount, Quebec. B.A. (McGill), LL.B (Osgoode Hall Law School Toronto), Barrister, Member of the Ontario Bar. Brother of Kenneth, David, Hamilton, George, Helen, Jean and Margaret. The Town of Carleton Place remembered Flying Officer Findlay by naming a street in his honour.
