Additional information
Son of Dr. William H. McIntyre and Mabel McIntyre, of Mission City, British Columbia. Edward joined the Canadian Army, Active, Westminster Regt. M.G., "C" Company in September 1939 as a Corporal. He was released to train as an aircrew and qualified for his wings. His brother William "Bill" also served in Westminster's and was commissioned later in World War II. After the war, Bill joined the RCAF serving with ground crew.
