Belfast, Ireland

Son of Isabel Calvert, of Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland; husband of Edith Annie Calvert, Duncan, British Columbia. Pte Calvert served from 8 November 1940 to 22 April 1943 in Canada only. He was discharged as medically unfit. Pte Calvert also served with the 16th Battalion, Canadian Scottish, 1st Division, Canadian Expeditionary Force, (CEF) Regimental Number 28898, from 1914 until he was demobilized in 1919.
