Additional information
Son of David Malcom Campbell and Mary Stephenson, of Florence, Nova Scotia. Husband of Frances Marie Dosie, of Vancouver. His father served in France during the First World War, with the 15th Machine Gun Company, service number 415189, demobilized on 25 March 1919 in Halifax As Sergeant.

Hugh served in Canada and in England with 226 Squadron, RAF, from 1 April 1943 to 6 March 1944, and was repatriated to be an instructor, until his death.
