Born in the town of Wingate in Durham England on Nov. 19th 1895.
William was drafted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Nov. 11th 1917 he listed his occupation as "Miner"  He died during the Spanish flu panademic of 1918-19 on Oct. 18th 1918 at the age of 22.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery of Vancouver BC
