Alexander enlisted into the 202nd Battn. C.E.F. (Replasement) at Edmonton Alberta on March. 21st 1915, he listed his occupation as "Bank Clerk & Farmer"  Alexander died at Vancouver BC on Jan. 3rd 1920 at the age of 39.  He was laid to rest at the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
