Born in Carberry Manitoba on Jan. 11th 1896, he enlisted into the 172nd Battn. (Replacement) at Vancouver BC on March 14th 1916. During his service as an enlisted man he was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (D.C.M.)
Daniel died at Vancouver BC on June 22nd 1921 at the age of 25. and was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
