Both grave stones of 37441 Gunner Henry Penley who served with the 1st Div. Ammunition Park Canadian Artillery C.E.F. Born in Brighton England on Aug. 30th 1874 he enlisted into the C.E.F. at Valcartier Quebec on Sept. 25th 1914, he listed prior military service in the Railway Pioneer Regt. during the South African war. He listed his occupation as "Fitter" Henry died at Vancouver BC on March 15th 1921 at the age of 46. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC. -
