Thomas enlisted into the C.E.F. at Calgary Alberta on Nov. 24th 1914 listing his occupation as "Farmer" Thomas died at Vancouver BC on Aug. 26th 1920 at the age of 50.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery of Vancouver BC
