Born in Liverpool England on July 21st 1886. Arthur enlisted into the C.E.F. at Calgary Alberta on May 3rd 1915 listing prior military service of one year with the Sworpshire Regt. (British Army) he listed his occupation as "Carpenter"  Arthur died at Vancouver BC on Feb. 9th 1921 at the age of 34.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
