He was born in the town of Portisaac in Cornwall England on March 21st 1896.
He enlisted into the C.E.F. at Brandon Manitoba on March 4th 1916 listing his occupation as "Farmer"  He died during the Spanish flu panademic of 1918-19 on Jan. 10th 1919 at the age of 22.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
