  • Grave Marker– Grave of 106138 Pvt. John Wesley Cleaver who served with the 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles C.E.F.  Born in Portage La Prairie Manitoba on Nov. 18th 1890.  John enlisted into the C.E.F. at Brandon Manitoba on Dec. 23rd 1914 he listed prior military service with the 23rd Regt of Light Horse Canadian Militia, he listed his occupation as "Fireman C.N.R."  John died at Vancouver BC on Jan. 15th 1922 at the age of 31.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery of Cancouver BC.
