He was known by his Christian name, Allen. Son of Eugene Victor and Llewllyn (née Waddle) Wilson of Boyle Alberta. Husband of Anne Elizabeth (née Walsh) Wilson, father of Robin Jephrey and Natalie Lynn. Brother of Victor Eugene, Myron Lorne and Linda Lou. He attended Silver Fox Primary School from 1948 to 1955 and Boyle High School from 1955 to 1959. His hobbies were swimming, skating, fishing, dancing, hunting and he had qualifications in electricity and mechanics. He enjoyed bowling, hockey and curling. He was also a member of the Students' Union and the Dance Club at Boyle High School. He was employed as an Aero Engine Technician in the service. His widow and children all live in the greater Toronto area.

EDMONTON (BEECHMOUNT) CEMETERY Alberta, Canada

During the 1939-1945 War, Canadian Infantry troops were stationed at Edmonton. No.13 Vocational Training School was set up and the airfield formed a link in the North-West Staging Route. Most of the war graves lie in Blocks 206 and 208. The cemetery also contains a Cross of Sacrifice. There are now 5 First World War and over 70 Second World War casualties commemorated in this site.
