  • Photo of Laura Potier– Thirty years after the death of my father. Life moves on for those left behind and we are left wondering about our father. Who was he? What kind of a man was he? What kind of a relationship we would have had with him? How his presence would have affected our ultimate outcome... With him dying at such a young age and his offspring eventually surpassing the age in which he died, where are we without him? It is a huge hole that could never be filled in...

For the rest of the family members, these are pictures just to say: This is where we are and this is who we have become...

This picture was taken in Afghanistan while I was working as a civilian with the Canadian Forces in Kabul 2004. One of the best experiences of my life. One to be cherished...
  • Photo of Laura Potier– This is a photo taken while I was teaching in China 2004-2005. My mother told me that one of the characteristics I got from my father was the need for adventure... Since I only knew him for 5 years, it was quite amazing to know that I had inherited such a vital part of him... Just goes to show what we get from our genes! His spirit lives on...
