Cst. Breese served in different detachments in British Columbia. He enjoyed his job and spending as much time as he could with his family. Cst. Breese was responding to a call of a stabbing when an elderly woman pulled out in front of him. Cst. Breese saw her pull out so he pulled over one lane to go around her. As the woman kept crossing into the right lane, Cst. Breese, knowing that a collision was unavoidable, tried to ditch his bike but it was too late. Cst. Breese died 5 months after the collision. Cst. Breese was married to Janelle and they had 2 daughters: Myriah and Dale. He is buried in Lakeview Cemetery in Penticton, BC.

Commemorated on Page 189 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
