Cpl. Lidstone served in the north at: Frobisher Bay, Griese Fiord, Yellowknife, Fort Rae and Igloolik and served in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. Cpl. Lidstone responded to a call with Cst. Brophy involving a family dispute. He was married to Janet Ann and they had two daughters. He was cremated and his ashes remain at People’s Cemetery in Summerside, PEI.

Commemorated on Page 153 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
