Cst. Pierlet was born in Montreal, Quebec. He was engaged to be married to Debbie. Cst. Pierlet was buried at Depot. There is a street at Depot named after him in his honour. In addition, an overpass was dedicated to Cst. Pierlet’s memory in Cloverdale, BC.

Commemorated on Page 147 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
