Cst. Weisgerber was born in Saskatchewan. He was shot while investigating a complaint near Kamloops, British Columbia. Cst. Weisgerber was married to Joan. His name appears on a plaque on the wall of the RCMP Chapel at Depot. He is buried at Hillside Cemetery in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Commemorated on Page 117 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
