Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Cst. Reay initially engaged as a Special Constable and became a regular member a year later. In his career, Cst. Reay was posted to eight different detachments in Manitoba. He drowned in the Churchill River while on duty at Island Falls, Saskatchewan. Cst. Reay had a wife Bertie and a daughter. He is buried in Camrose, Alberta.
