Corporal Halliday served in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, British Columbia, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories. He died from an accidental, self-inflicted wound in the chest, while stationed at Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories.
Commemorated on Page 53 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
