Trio, Memorial Cross and Death Plaque to #839, Pte Fred Campbell. An original member of the PPCLI, twice wounded prior (once severely on 04 May 15), Pte Fred Campbell was killed by shell fire during the assault at Vimy Ridge at the Cross Roads, La Targette. He is buried in Ecoivres Military Cemetery. -
