Additional information
Son of Odilon Blais (deceased in 1897) and Théotiste Estiambre (remarried to Firmin Larocque in 1899), of St-Godefroi, Gaspésie. He stated being born in 1894 when he enlisted. He had been serving with the 22nd Battalion since March 1916 and was evacuated in England in June 1918, following a foot wound contracted in the trenches of Neuville-Vitasse. He died in England of Spanish flu while he was recuperating.
