Lt. William H. Clipperton's name is included on the Streetsville Ontario War Memorial. The memorial was unveiled on July 1st, 1926 and restored in 1993. -

The 1914-1918 Roll of Service for Ontario Teachers contains 851 names. 101 died as a result of their military service. The information on this Honour Roll may differ from other sources as it was compiled by the Department of Education in Toronto, Ontario, from "...varied and numerous sources, that mistakes are inevitable." -

Inscription
Inscription in Memorial Room, Soldiers' Tower. The carillon was installed in 1927. Originally there were 23 bells. Alumni and friends donated bells in memory of those who fell in the Great War. Dedications are carved high on the walls of the Memorial Room. Bell XXII is dedicated: "The Alumni Association and friends of Victoria College". Photo courtesy of Alumni Relations. -

LAPUGNOY MILITARY CEMETERY Pas de Calais, France
Lapugnoy is a village and commune in Pas-de-Calais, 6 kilometres west of Bethune.
From the centre of Lapugnoy, head south-west on the D70 in the direction of Marles-les-Mines. On the outskirts of the centre there is a crucifix at the side of the main road, turn right here towards Allouagne. After approximately 500 metres there is a track on the left hand side (the Cemetery is signposted here) and the LAPUGNOY MILITARY CEMETERY can be found on the left hand side, approximately 500 metres, along this track.
