Canadian National Railways - World War One Roll of Honour. Captain Henry Edward Redmond Hamilton completed his Officers' Declaration Paper in September 1916 for the 239th Battalion C.E.F. Hamilton was a Civil Engineer. He had prior military experience with the 72nd Seaforth Highlanders of Canada. Born in Waterford, Ireland, Hamilton's home address in 1916 was 63 Douglas Lodge, Vancouver, British Columbia. He was married to Margaret Farron Hamilton. In honoured memory. -
