This marble stele memorial at Old United Church cemetery, Britannia (Random Point), NL was erected by the Halliday family in memory of Abel Halliday who was killed in France on 14 April 1917. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [front/devant] ABEL HALLIDAY AGED 24 YEARS SERVED WITH THE N.F. REG. IN FRANCE.
