Grave of 2022597 Sapper Roy Harris Wilson who served with the Canadian Engneers C.E.F. Born in Ottumwa Iowa U.S.A. on Aug. 2nd 1889. He enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on March 25th 1918 listing his occupation as "Chiropodist" He died during the Spanish Flu panademic of 1918-19 on Oct. 27th 1918 at the age of 29. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC. Born an American he died defending Canada Lest We Forget. -
