Baptzed Joseph Donat Fugère. Son of Jules Fugère and Marie-Louise Lamothe, of Viauville (Montréal), Québec.

Accidentally killed by a tramway in St-Jean and buried at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery in Montréal. However, the exact location of his burial was lost and his grave has not been found. He is now commemorated on a memorial in the Field of Honour in Pointe-Claire.
