Additional information
Son of Angélina « Lina » Ménard, of Montréal, Québec. He stated being born in Montréal when he enlisted. Evacuated from France twice due to respiratory issues, he was diagnosed in 1919 with tuberculosis and repatriated in Canada for treatment. After two months in hospital, he was released from the military and died eighteen months later.
