Second Lieutenant Patton Sherman
From a newspaper (Montreal or Abbotsford, Quebec) clipping in my Great Grandmother's (Clara Fisk) cookbook. Second Lieutenant Patton Sherman. Reported Missing April 10th, 1917. Buried at: Flesquieres Hill British Cemetery, France, 30 miles from Vimy Ridge. Would seem logical he was involved in the Vimy Ridge battle. He was in the 10th Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force and they list him as deceased April 30th, 2017.
