This photo is of David Dawson's parents, Richard James and Jane Anna, taken from their home in Ireland. We assume David immigrated to Canada, as he died fighting in WW1 as a Canadian Soldier. His brother Richard James (same name as father) immigrated to Australia - where we live now.

NOEUX-LES-MINES COMMUNAL CEMETERY Pas de Calais, France
Noeux-les-Mines is a town 6 kilometres south of Bethune on the main road to Arras. The Communal Cemetery is on the northern side of the town, on the south-east side of the road to Labourse.
