Today the 1914-1918 war memorial plaque for the Massey Harris Company is located on the outside of their former head office at King Street West, Toronto, Ontario. This plaque includes a separate list for the men who were employed at the Brantford Works. -

Pte. Matthew Bancroft enlisted with the first Canadian Contingent and trained at Camp Valcartier in late 1914. -
